£20 notes out of circulation

Notes with the picture of Elgar will no longer be legal tender after 30th June, so if you have a hidden stash under your mattress now is the time to spend them.

Is it me or did £20 seem alot more than €20? Here you regularly use €50, €100 or even €200 notes but if you are in the UK peole look at you like your Ronnie Biggs if you pay with a £50 note.
