Unemployment in Tuscany

Hi - does anyone know what has happened about the Buitoni Factory in Sansepolcro. I know it was sold in 2008. I signed a petition last week, against building apartments on the land going up the hill towards the monastery. The local people I spoke to have said that all the 450 jobs there have now gone. Is this true? If so it is sad. They are now making the pasta in eastern europe or somewhere. I expect this will have a knock on effect on other businesses. I've had a look around the internet to see if I can find out more without success. I would be interested to know what is happening regarding this in what I now regard as my other home.
